We have two
different lay-ups for our kayaks :-
Our Glass lay-up has
coremat under the paddler and has some small
kevlar and carbon fibre re-inforcing.
Our Kevlar lay-up has
a complete kevlar hull and deck with carbon-fibre
stiffening through the paddler area.
We also have a Carbon/Kevlar hybrid lay-up as an option for the F1.
All our kayaks have a band of extra stiffening / re-inforcing both in
front
of and behind the cockpit, to enable the kayak to be tied down to a roof-rack
without distorting or stressing it too much.
