The rising star of long distance triathlon in New Zealand, Mike Phillips is heading north this Saturday to take part in the Port of Tauranga Half,aiming to continuing his current run of impressive form.
At around 6.50 pm on Sunday evening a group were swimming at Waimarama Beach in front of the surf club. They were around chest-deep in the water when a male and a female started to be swept out to sea.
